This cutting board is 8 x 8, which is great for smaller jobs of cutting vegetable's, meat, fruit and more. Designed with Oracle vinyl for a long lasting effect. I do suggest handwashing, however, I have put my own in my dishwasher, on the top wrack and made sure the heat cycle was not on. (Don't want that vinyl to shrink). This is why I prefer to hand wash my cutting boards. The design is on the underside.
